Take your time and thoroughly savour the desert landscapes in southern Namibia. We recommend that you
- never clock up more than 500 km in one day,
- do not drive faster than 80 km/h on gravel roads,
- spend at least two nights in every place.

		Gondwana Kalahari Park Situated 30 km northeast of Mariental, Gondwana Kalahari Park makes for an ideal stopover on your way to southern Namibia!


		From Windhoek (about 280 km): B 1 to C 20, turnoff about 10 km north of Mariental (tar road; about 255 km) C 20 to Gondwana Kalahari Park (tar road; about 20 km)

Before setting out, please double-check with your accommodation establishment that your directions are indeed correct, because street signs do not always correspond with all of the details on maps. Also ask about the current condition of roads.
